A quaternion is a way to express direction in 3D space. It is a 4th dimensional vector that is immune to gimbal lock, unlike traditional Euler angles.

I use Google Sheets mainly for accessibility. I could make something using Excel, or even C or Python, but all of those have a barrier to entry that sharing a Google Sheet does not. If you need something more complex, a program already exists for you, or you can make one yourself.
